Technical Architect - Networking Services - Bangalore - Telecom & Network MNC

Networking Services team in Bangalore is growing, and we need this TA to contribute in building a strong stable team, be responsible for maintaining and enhancing architecture NS

Key Tasks:

- Maintain architectural integrity : Technology architecture forward planning, Design review, Interface management.

- Internal communication : technical issue resolution, information propagation, liaison with other teams in Symbian

- External communication at customer, partner and supplier meetings, standards bodies and conferences, 3rd party technical leadership

- Requirement Analysis of new Product Requirements

- Identify risks/issues related to a project and also dependencies as part of analysis

- Proactively build relationships with technical peers

- Estimate timescales for work, and commit to keep to them.

- Specify, design, implement and test new software components .

- Carry out all tasks to a high level of quality and consistently look to improve quality.

- Identify the current design improvements of components

- Mentoring and coaching the team members

- Strive to continuously improve software development process

Competencies:

- Excellent analytical skills

- Very good knowledge on SDLC

- Well experienced in Architecture, Requirements analysis, Estimation & Design

- Excellent communication skills

- Very good domain skills - Telecom / Embedded / Networking

- Good coaching & mentoring skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Master's in IT/ computer Science/Software Engineering or MCAc or any equivalent

Experience:

Solid experinece in software development industry in either telecom or operating system field

Expert in embedded C++ experience, Architecting, UML and Real Time OS

Solid Object Oriented Design experience at system and component level

Experience of working with mature development process and all stages of SDLC

Solid Networking background - must have worked on many protocol components

Skills:

Architecting complex systems

Object oriented design techniques

Excellent programming skills with OOAD concepts

Real time embedded system experience

Disposition:

Driving technology, Team Player, Go-getter, self-starter, excellent interpersonal skills, Quick Learner, Flexible and adaptable to constant change

Experience:

Symbian OS experience

Mobile handset software development
